Abstract
The COVID-19 pandemic has significantly impacted all aspects of society; within the material management world this has resulted in changes to the operations of physical security systems. This change is driven because non-critical Personnel are prohibited from many facilities. This prohibition is proposed to have a cascading effect on all aspects of security system performance. This paper explores the potential effects of the on physical security system performance by applying specific constraints to a facility physical security system model, then evaluates the impact on system performance. Various compensation strategies are suggested to improve the outcomes.
