The Countermeasures for Strengthening the Nuclear Security Architecture after the Nuclear Security Summits

After finishing the 4th Nuclear Security Summit in Washington D.C., the Summit process was ended. It was a meaningful opportunity to practically discuss about strengthening the nuclear security architecture as a level of national and international organization leaders. During the nuclear security summit process, it was derived the substantial measures for combating the terrorism in nuclear facilities. And participating countries have presented either individual pledges or pledges by groups of countries (\"gift baskets\") for contributing the nuclear security. Through the 1st to 4th summit, participating countries recognized the importance of real threats in nuclear facilities and continuously had efforts to minimize the risk of nuclear and radiological terrorism through national actions and international cooperation. It will be needed to sustain the concern of strengthening the nuclear security in many ways after finishing the 4th summit.
