This paper will introduce a special designed electromagnetic wave detecting device, it consists of a low frequency magnetic field detecting coil, a band-pass preamplifier with high gain, a low noise receiver with high resolution, and computer measurement & control software. Its frequency range of electromagnetic induction is from 0.5kHz to 150kHz. Its dynamic range is about 140dBμV. Its frequency resolution is 1Hz. Its sensitivity is about 2μV/m @4650Hz. Its weight is no more than 10kg. It can continually work more than 6 hours powered by battery. So it is very suitable for in situ inspection.The application shows: this device can be used to detect the electromagnetic wave emitted from uranium centrifuge enrichment activity, and the best detecting frequency is 3 times speed of centrifuge rotating, and it can be used to identify and locate the position of the uranium centrifuge enrichment activity, and the detectable distance is depended on the scale of the facility and electromagnetic background around the facility and so on, and the detectable distance can be far more than 250 meters for a uranium centrifuge enrichment plant with 500 tons SWU/y without other electromagnetic interference around the plant. This device can be used to detect and locate the undeclared uranium centrifuge enrichment activity.

Abstract
