Lessons Learned During the Training Exercise for the Entry into Force of the U.S. Additioanl Protocol in the DOE Complex

In 2008 in anticipation of the United States bringing into force the Additional Protocol in early 2009 DOE/NNSA planned and executed training exercises in the conduct of Additional Protocol complementary access activities. Brookhaven National Laboratory and Los Alamos National Laboratory together produced the exercises designed to prepare the following types of DOE laboratories for complementary access - weapons laboratories, nuclear engineering laboratories, environmental management laboratories and science laboratories. This panel provides a forum to discuss and summarize the results and lessons learned from the 2008 exercise.
