Abstract
Performance Testing and Quick Card results are entered into the evaluation process of the Comprehensive Analysis of Safeguards Strategies (COMPASS) program to provide a clear picture of MC&A Program elements/sub-elements functionality. This evaluation process uses performance tests and quick card reviews to determine the overall program effectiveness of meeting DOE and Plant requirements. The COMPASS process provides an effectiveness/contribution of each program element and sub-element as well as identifying weaknesses and trends of the MC&A Program. The COMPASS process is used on a dynamic basis using data from internal/external assessments, internal/external performance tests, site office evaluations, metrics, Quick Cards, anomalies and other sources.
