Abstract
Korea Institute of Nuclear Nonproliferation and Control (KINAC) had installed and operated the first \"Test-Bed\" for the technical criteria development and education & training about physical protection system from 2009 to 2013 [2]. According to the policy trend around the world strengthening nuclear security more and more, KINAC prepared a planning report about the establishment of “International Nuclear Nonproliferation and Security Academy, INSA” in 2010 [1]. It included the extension and relocation of the original \"Test-bed\" as a main content. Finally, INSA has completed the construction recently having a lot of changes compared to original “Test-bed”. This paper is to introduce the details about establishment background and overview of the INSA, then present the results of installation of the Integrated Security Equipment Control System (ISECS) which was designed to reflect with engineered state-of- the-art technology. The ultimate goal of this paper aims that ISECS become a reference model for design of advanced Central Alarm Station (CAS) at nuclear power plants in near future.
