Abstract
Computer application training is best done when the student has access to the application during the training. The Local Area Nuclear Material Accountability Software (LANMAS) training is conducted via a mobile classroom. Laptop computers, maintained by the LANMAS Design Agency, are updated with the current version of LANMAS and a training database. Once the training is scheduled, the computers are shipped to the host site so that each student has his/her own laptop for the class. This paper discusses the mobile classroom concept, how the training is scheduled, logistics for shipping the computers to and from the host site and classroom setup.
