Abstract
The IAEA has recently undertaken to explore techniques to augment and improve the capability of its existing safeguards information systems as part of Programme 93+2 in order to address the detection of undeclared activities. In Task 5 a new analysis system is being investigated which could help the Agency deal with large volumes of qualitative information, and integrate it with existing data to produce meaningful results. This paper presents some preliminary suggestions and findings of this effort.
