Abstract
Los Alamos National Laboratory (LANL) has a vibrant and active set of programs and projects that require special nuclear material (SNM). The management of this material, including requests for authorization to accept incoming shipments, the storage and handling, and final disposition has been captured in logic diagrams. The application of these diagrams forms the basis for the nuclear materials management and reporting at LANL.
