\"Testing the FM container monitoring system during transportation\"

Ensuring security of fissile materials (FM) removed from nuclear warheads is one of the vital problems to be addressed under the Non-Proliferation Treaty. Transportation is one of the most risky stages from the viewpoint of FM possible loss. FM security can be ensured through implementing the FM container transportation monitoring system. Under the Lab-to-Lab collaboration VNIIA (Russia) with support of SNL (USA) developed the Automated Transportation Monitoring System (ATMS) which detects any unauthorized actions with FM container in real time.
