Status of the Implementation of IAEA Safeguards in the United States

This paper reviews the current status of the implementation of International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) safeguards in the United States under the U.S. - IAEA Safeguards Agreement, the U.S. - IAEA Reporting Proto col, and the U.S. IAEA Additional Protocol. Particular emphasis is placed on reviewing new facilities brought under IAEA safeguards during the past year, as well the U.S. experience in implementing the U.S. Additional Protocol.
