Abstract
This research investigates the ability to expand the capabilities of the active well coincidence counter by combining the results of active and passive measurements as well as add a second active measurement which uses neutrons from an Americium-Beryllium source, a much higher energy neutron source than the Americium-Lithium sources which are traditionally used. This project is focused on measuring the Neptunium-Plutonium Extraction (NPEX) product but the methodology for measuring any oxide sample containing up to six actinides will also be developed.
