“Global Nuclear Material Threat Reduction Efforts: Scope and Accomplishments”

The Office of Global Nuclear Material Threat Reduction is an integral part of the Department of Energy’s Global Threat Reduction Initiative. The Office’s programs work to reduce the potential risk posed by vulnerable, high-risk nuclear material as part of the National Nuclear Security Administration’s response to the growing concern of nuclear and radiological terrorism.
