Abstract
A workshop, “International Safeguards Workshop – Surveillance Roadmapping,” was held in New York, NY, from September 29 through October 3, 2003 (http://www.bnl.gov/ispo/BNLWorkshop03/TOC.htm). The result of the workshop was the agreement that there is an immediate need for the development of the next generation of video surveillance technology to replace the existing International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) workhorse, the DCM-14 and DMOS systems.
