Abstract
A neutron well counter and an HPGe detector behind an information barrier (IB) have been in use at LANL in the the Next Generation Attribute Measurement System (NG-AMS). This system has been used, as a proof of principle, for attribute measurement studies of plutonium for treaty verification. Recently, we have converted the passive neutron well counter to an active well coincidence counter(AWCC) and are currently using the NG-AMS hardware to conduct attribute measurement studies on uranium.
