American Nuclear Society (ANS)/Institute of Nuclear Materials Management (INMM) Workshop on Safety-Security Risk-Informed Decision-Making

The workshop was intended to bring safety and security risk professionals together to interact, learn from each other and to share ideas. The objective was that all who attend would leave the workshop with a better understanding of the concepts of risk applied in the nuclear safety and security disciplines. Safety and security risk professionals made presentations on how risk is used in their areas of responsibility. There was extensive discussion on how the safety and security communities could better leverage risk information from each other.
