Abstract
This paper focuses on compiling a list of available resources to assist in meeting obligations associated with international nuclear safeguards agreements. There is a wide range of safeguards agreements that contain specific requirements that must be fulfilled. To raise awareness of international nuclear safeguards as well as assist in meeting safeguards obligations, a number of tools have been developed by multiple stakeholders, such as the US Department of Energy and the International Atomic Energy Agency. For this assessment, resources were selected ranging from online sources intended to provide general education on international nuclear safeguards to hands-on tools designed to assist in meeting detailed reporting obligations associated with safeguards agreements. Specifically, this paper provides a list of available resources, explains their purpose, and describes how each can be accessed. The result can serve as an educational tool of useful information to assist individuals interested in or responsible for international nuclear safeguards.
