Abstract
There is presently a need for 20,000 to 30,000 passive seals that can be verified in-situ. No currently used passive seal can be verified with out painstaking human attention. This paper describes an automatic verifier for the Cobra Seal. The entire \"AutoCobra\" is a inexpensive modular, portable, off the shelf, device that requires no supporting facilities to capture and confirm full resolution Cobra Seal signatures. The AutoCobra is no longer a concept; it is in production and available for deployment.
