Abstract
The 3rd Generation Attribute Measurement System project has been tasked by the U.S. National Nuclear Security Administration Office of Nuclear Verification to develop the next generation of attribute measurement system for potential verification applications. The primary improvements of this effort, compared to previous attribute measurement systems, are to address authentication and certification concerns throughout the design and development process and to conduct attribute measurements for highly enriched uranium and high explosives in addition to plutonium. This paper will present attribute measurement techniques under consideration by the project.
