Abstract
The terms “disgruntled”, “transparency”, “verification”, and “safeguards” are often used in ambiguous, inappropriate, misleading, and unhelpful ways. Although use of these terms in a nuclear context is likely to continue, recognizing their limitations and problems can help to minimize potential negative consequences.
