Abstract
MC&A issues and needs have been gathered as part of an assessment to outline a modernized MC&A program that will address the changing threats in the world today and those anticipated in the future. The aging workforce is also a driving force for engineered and technology solutions for MC&A issues. The large quantity of needs and limited resources for implementing those needs necessitates a prioritized plan or roadmap that systematically builds the components that will lead to a comprehensive modernized MC&A program. The first step in developing the roadmap is consolidation of common themes from the compilation of control, accountability and measurement needs. The next step is to create a technology roadmap for MC&A that develops each of these themes into a set of projects with timelines that when accomplished will produce the envisioned modernized state of MC&A. This paper will describe the roadmapping process and provide an example of a possible format for the roadmap.
