Report of the 51st INMM Annual Meeting

The Institute of Nuclear Materials Managementheld the first meeting of its secondhalf-century of existence—in otherwords, its 51st Annual Meeting—in theInner Harbor of Baltimore, Maryland,USA. Known for its myriad superb restaurantsand sightseeing options, Baltimore’sInner Harbor proved to be the perfect settingfor an equally superb meeting. Whilethe meeting began with some trepidationbecause of the unfortunate inabilityof Charles Pietri, our Technical ProgramCommittee chair for the past twenty-fouryears, to attend, his planning and hardwork prior to the meeting proved to beup to the task and once again the meetingwas conducted with several improvementsfrom previous years. And this was despitethe fact that attendance and participationwere both at record levels.
