Workshop For Applied Nuclear Data Activities

The Nuclear Data Interagency Working Group (NDIAWG) hosted the Workshop for Applied Nuclear Data Activities (WANDA2020) in Washington, DC on March 3-6, 2020. This is the fourth in a series of workshops to address the impact of nuclear data to mission relevant applications. WANDA2020 brought together nuclear data experts, data users, and program leads to discuss nuclear data needs for applications and to recommend a path forward to resolve those nuclear data needs. The discussions during the topic-focused breakout sessions provide input to the NDIAWG collaborative FOA led by the Office of Science, Office of Nuclear Physics. This paper provides historical context, summarizes workshop discussions, and provides recommendations by the nuclear data community for a comprehensive nuclear data program.
