Abstract
On-line enrichment monitoring technology is a principle element for modern safeguards in production scale gas centrifuge enrichment plants (GCEPs). To support the development of an advanced enrichment monitor (AEM) we have designed and fabricated two different vacuum and gas transfer systems to reproducibly provide a static UF6 gas density at relevant pressure and enrichment values. We describe the systems and present some data. The AEM developed with these systems should facilitate the safeguards monitoring of new GCEPs.
