Abstract
The goal of this paper is to conduct a comparative analysis of the security policies, procedures , and implementation requirements of the United States and Jordan in the areas of both nuclear materials and radiological sources. This work will be conducted through collaboration between the University of Tennessee Knoxville, and the Jordan University of Science and Technology (JUST) . The co - authors will be attempting to compare the strengths and weaknesses of the technical communities of which they are involved, and identify future areas of research collaboration between the two countries. This research will present a unique opportunity for building strong cross cultural relationships in the next generation of nuclear leaders, and thus strengthening the ties between the two countries. Goal s for the future will be to continue this inaugural project between student INMM chapters in the United States and Jordan for the betterment of the nuclear community.
