Abstract
During the Nuclear Security Summit in The Hague, 58 world leaders made several agreements to prevent terrorists from obtaining nuclear material that could be used to make a nuclear weapon or dirty bombs. The third Nuclear Security Summit has been significant in gathering countries to recognize the risks of nuclear terrorism and the importance of international cooperation in preventing and effectively responding to these threats. This paper is a short review of Moldovan authorities measures and obtained results, in close co-operation with foreign partners on strengthening nuclear security and safety regimes, in the period between Seoul and the Hague Nuclear Security Summit.
