Abstract
The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) published the Nuclear Security Series No. 2 to strengthen the international nuclear security regime. Korea Institute of Nuclear Nonproliferation and Control (KINAC) started the project to establish a nuclear forensics support system as of 2013 for developing nuclear forensics related technologies and administrational infrastructures. The project includes the amendment of laws and regulations for nuclear forensics implementation, nuclear material library system development as well as the trace algorithm to find nature of spent fuel. We positively predict that this project will help promote nuclear security in the nation and strengthen the international nuclear security system.
