Abstract
This paper outlines activities by King’s College London over the past three years to su pport professional development in the area of nuclear security education. In particular, the paper sets out details regarding the programme of Professional Dev elopment Courses (PDCs) that have been implemented both in the United Kingdom and in South Africa. The paper then moves to discuss some of the challenges encountered in the development of nuclear security -­- specific PDCs and how these have been dealt with. The paper finishes by briefly setting out future plans in this area.
