Abstract
The unclassified lab-to-lab warhead dismantlement transparency program is an initiative designed to sustain a technical dialogue with U.S. experts on warhead dismantlement transparency. The primary objective of this program is to develop technologies and procedures for potential future application in a variety of arms control and nonproliferation initiatives while ensuring that no sensitive or classified information is revealed to the monitoring party. Under the auspices of this program, over forty contracts have been signed with U.S. nuclear laboratories. This paper will provide a Russian perspective on this successful cooperative program, including an overview of both current and future projects.
