Open-Source/Geospatial Information Working Group

A new working group was established this fall addressing the increased interest in opensource and geospatial information and tools. This poster presents the working group charter and an update on the status of the working group's activities to date, including a summary of relevant papers to be presented at the annual meeting. Of particular interest to the general membership is the use of social media such as LinkedIn to share news and technical updates, allowing the working group to better communicate among themselves. Membership in the OS/GI WG is encouraged for anyone with an interest in the subject area.
