Abstract
The Institute of Nuclear Materials Management (INMM) sponsored a workshop on Reducing the Risk from Radioactive and Nuclear Materials, 19-20 February 2008 in Washington DC. The workshop’s panel on Nuclear Trafficking focused on the threats emanating from nuclear trafficking and identifying first priority actions to address those threats. This paper summarizes the results of the Nuclear Trafficking Panel and discusses possible future directions in efforts to combat nuclear trafficking.
