Abstract
Universities as a part of the state have a role to promote nuclear security culture, and Institute of Nuclear Materials Management (INMM) as an organization that devoted to ensuring secure stewardship of nuclear materials also contributes to foster nuclear security culture among the young generation through its student chapters. By organizing meetings, discussions, papers, and publications, members of INMM student chapter take part in promoting as well as acquire knowledge and became aware on the concept of nuclear security culture. C?ollaborative efforts were made between University of Ibn Tofail (UIT), Morocco and Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM), Indonesia in order to compare the practice of INMM SC in both universities. The study will be done with a survey assessing INMM SC members’ knowledge on some basic concept of nuclear security culture. To complete the comparison, we will describe performance of workshops hosted during the year, its interest, and finally students’ expectations. The result of this study hoped to be a suggestion for INMM to design the best practice of Education, Training and Workforce Development in disseminating nuclear security throughout the world and also become an example for other INMM SC in planning their activities.
