Abstract
Komunitas Muda Nuklir Nasional (National Nuclear Youth Community of Indonesia) has been promoting nuclear education to the society since several years ago. Consisting of more than 500 active members, KOMMUN has been always giving support to disseminate nuclear knowledge through their activities around in Indonesia. Three years after the KOMMUN was pioneered, KOMMUN has conducted a series of nuclear talks (Bincang Bincang Nuklir) to provide better understanding of nuclear to society. Through these events, the participants are given the chance to understand nuclear and its application and discuss it with other participants, guided by a moderator. These events were participated by the students with their different backgrounds. In this paper, the authors wrote how participants experienced with BBN. The authors outlined the participant’s perspective of BBN as one of the creative learning methods. In this effort, the authors interviewed some participants who have participated the BBN in order to acquire participant’s perspective regarding the impression, strength and weakness as well as the lessons learned from these events.
