Abstract
The International Panel on Fissile Materials' Global Fissile Material Report 2010 (GFMR2010) contains analyses of publicly available information relating to the current sizes of the HEU and plutonium stocks of all the nuclear-weapon states other than North Korea. The U.S. Government has published detailed information on the history of its fissile material production and use and the U.K. has declared its stocks. Russia, France, China, Israel, India and Pakistan have not made such information public but, in most cases, enough bits of information have been published so that rough estimates can be made. Specialists on each country collected and analyzed this information and come up with improved estimates. This paper provides an overview of the results and how they could be improved by declarations and checked with cooperative nuclear-archeology projects.
