Abstract
There is a need for an easy to use and customize, intuitive and secure State Systems for Accounting and Control (SSACs) of nuclear materials. This paper will present and demonstrate the characteristics and design approach and for such a system. It will also discuss how accuracy and usability are greatly improved by maximizing automation, including violation checks and automation of reconciliation, and providing display screens in the local language.
