Abstract
NMCC has developed an integrated C/S system which will be operated in automated mode (inspector unattended) for practical safeguards purposes by inspectors of the IAEA (International Atomic Energy Agency) and the JSGO (Japan Safeguards Office) at Rokkasho Reprocessing Plant (RRP). This paper describes the IHVS (Integrated Head-end Verification System) for surveillance and monitoring of nuclear material transfers at the feeding cells, shearing cells and hull drumming cells in the head-end area, and also gives the status of the system and the result of tests that have been carried out so far.
