Abstract
The Integrated Inspector Information System (I3S) is a component of the Data Collection and Evaluation System (DCE) for the Rokkasho Reprocessing Plant (RRP). The DCE is an information system developed to support the implementation of Safeguards at the RRP through a Joint Inspectorate composed of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) and the Japanese regulatory authority JSGO. Data of various types are to be acquired by Safeguards equipment in local cabinets, which are integrated into the main process stream and distributed over the various RRP facility areas. This data, along with supporting data from Operator Declarations (OPD) and other sources will be stored in the Raw Data Base (RDB). The I3S is the IAEA information system that will acquire data from the RDB and other sources, archive the data, analyze the data, and support data review and other activities by IAEA inspectors. The I3S consists of software and computer hardware located at the RRP. This paper presents a description of RRP data collection, an overview of I3S, and an example that explains a technical improvement made in the area of OPDs.
