IAEA COOPERATION ON RADIOLOGICAL SOURCES

The Office of Radiological Threat Reduction has undertaken cooperative efforts with the IAEA on projects ranging from regulatory infrastructure and source security to sealed source conditioning and consolidation. These activities include: a source catalog; recovery of spent high activity radioactive sources (SHARS); source conditioning documentation; and, a records database. This paper describes ongoing efforts and the results of successful cooperation.
