Abstract
The evaluation of trends in inventory difference (ID) is performed on all active processes at the Los Alamos National Laboratory. The evaluation has included both cleanup gains and process differences. It is informative to separately evaluate the cleanup gains and the process differences over at least a several-month period of time. The trending of the total ID for each process where cleanup gains are included has allowed evaluators to discover anomalies. Therefore, there is interest in evaluating whether a more informative “picture” could be developed if cleanup gains and process differences were evaluated separately. The results of this exercise are depicted graphically and in relative terms.
