Abstract
In this study, general remote sensing concepts and techniques for detecting and extracting information of ground activities are reviewed and a new speed-up technology for accessing satellite imagery data of huge size more than several GB. The brief algorithm and test results of this new technique are presented, and compared with those of a typical data access method. With this method, loading and processing time of imagery data can be shortened drastically, so the capability of analyzing spatial information is expected to be greatly enhanced.
