Abstract
This report presents a conceptual design for the remote monitoring system (RMS) for the storage of fissile materials. The RMS is being developed as a collaboration project within the Warhead Safety and Security Exchange (WSSX) Program. The RMS features are self-sufficiency, flexibility under various application conditions and authentication of output information to protect from deliberate manipulation. This report describes the system’s design, the sensors’ structure and functions, the system’s operating algorithms, and possible application scenarios
