Abstract
This paper deals with method of disposal of high level radioactive waste in space maintaining all safety and safeguard aspects. Among different types of nuclear waste, High level waste is very small in amount but its activity is too high which is hazardous. This paper shows the technique of permanent disposal of such high level radioactive waste in space retaining all safety and safeguard aspects. If this method of disposal is implemented it will permanently remove the burden and responsibility of handling high level radioactive waste from future generation. This paper mainly describes how this space disposal can take place, what are the sequential launching steps we need to follow till the Payload containing high level waste gets inserted in desired destination orbit which is most preferably Solar orbit. In order to retain safety and safeguard aspects high level waste needs to be first solidified and then needs to be placed in an explosion-proof payload vehicle which can be later transferred to solar orbit via lower earth orbit.
